Cat cages are generally divided into three material types: solid wood, ecological board, and multi-layer board.
Solid wood usually provides the best composition because it requires less glue. The ecological board is typically made with Malacca board, which uses glue to combine a veneer layer to a wood strip base. Multi-layer boards also require glue to paste together many layers of small wood pieces.
Solid wood is typically the most expensive, multi-layer board is the least expensive, and ecological board is priced between them.
Multi-layer board is the most scratch and abrasion resistant. Solid wood and ecological board are fairly similar.
